In 1998 Ian moved to Uganda to work with the Ugandan young people, and YOUTHWORX East Africa was formed as a Charity in 2000.The Charity was set up to support and develop the training of Ugandan Youth workers, and Christian Mission teams. Many from Opengate have since visited, or spent time in Uganda, and our Church continues to support them in prayer, practically and financially. There is a group who meet weekly to pray for YEA, if you are interested in finding out more about this speak to Miranda or Derek Cormell.
